The LED lighting is a nice feature and the inside storage bins have a third shelf that folds up beneath itself to make it possible to store tall items. The drawers include temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to open and close, but I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range. It has Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the globe. It also has a lot of customization options. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill it's an option in other GE refrigerators that allows you to choose how many cups of water you'd like to disperse simultaneously. The fridge displays a countdown to reveal how much water is left but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Designed to look like a seamless piece of your kitchen Bosch's French-door refrigerator looks seamless and is an eye-catching piece. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment that helps keep vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors for maximum preservation of food. The ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or a kitchenette with an elegant design and top of the best food preservation.

The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators test, for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed by more than a fraction, this is crucial to avoid freezer burn. The fridge's refrigerator section also performed well, reaching the desired initial set temperature within a matter of hours and keeping that temperature steady throughout the course of our testing.

Bosch has a reputation for top-of-the-line appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance with the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app lets you monitor and control your fridge remotely from your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is expensive and has great features and capabilities at a reasonable cost.

It's important to understand the limitations of the fridge. You may need to get creative with tall objects because the fridge has a small shelf space. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features the standard French door design, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to make space for taller items. There's also a full-width drawer to store food items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great things about this refrigerator is that its ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it easy to move ice into the fridge for use when needed. The freezer has thoughtful design elements, for instance, sliding drawers to help you better organize the position of items. It comes with a large bin for storing frozen food, and a separate one for ice.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good choice for those who want to combine the advantages of a fridge with a French door with a more efficient layout. It has a capacity that is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a bit cheaper than the top counter depth refrigerator that comes with an icemaker, which makes it a great option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

You can alter this feature by using an adjustable slider that is located just on the outside of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've found that the general settings work better than the specific ones.

During my tests, I discovered that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance, but doesn't quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It is capable of repelling fingerprints and streaks, even compared to glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tried.
